To us, a Public House is a place of community and connection; where the smiles are warm and the atmosphere is welcoming, a place full of friendly conversation and genuine camaraderie. We are a Pub, NOT a restaurant. What does that mean? Food is secondary to drink. Our vision was to have a place for adults to unwind, grab a drink after work, meet up with friends or engage with new ones, kick off or end the evening. We are your neighborhood gathering spot for Corks, Crafts, Cocktails, & Conversation. - Justin & Danielle
Every bottle, every tap, and every concoction is selected with thought and purpose. Sure, some are our favorites, but whether you try something new or stick with what's true to you, we hope you enjoy and of course, drink responsibly.
Our menu is inspired by locally sourced ingredients that may change daily and/or seasonally based on availability. Our focus is on plates you can share. We will integrate creative specials to keep our guests excited about coming back.
A laid back atmosphere with a come as you are attitude. Whether you come from the field, the office or other, we welcome you. This is an adult space to relax and unwind, over 21 only.
Things move at a slower pace. We want you to stay and enjoy good drink, good bites & good conversation. Traditional Public Houses are places to stay as long as you would like, as long as you are eating & drinking of course.
We offer share plates & bar bites to accompany drinks. Our menu items focus on freshness, flavor, and presentation - all of which take time. Our offerings are prepped in limited quantities and all come out as ready.
BAR
We are a pub, so the bar is the center focus of the space and all tables are bar height. In addition to the 8 bar stools, we have a variety of high tables that accommodate 2, 4, or 5 stools, a standing bar, and a 'snug'*. When you arrive, please seat yourself. True to traditional Pub etiquette, place all orders at the bar and return empties when ordering another round. If you have more than 5 in your party you are more than welcome to stand around a table or the bar but please, do NOT move tables or take chairs from other tables. We are a small, intimate space by design. We are unable to accommodate large parties of 6 or more but private pub experiences can be made by emailing: info@pivotpublichouse.com
*Snug: “a small private room or compartment in a pub”
Snugs were first built in Irish pubs in the early to middle 19th Century.
Barn Area
If you are looking for a quieter space to converse, throw some darts, or socialize, the Barn Area may be right for you. Please order all drinks at the bar. While we do have a long communal table, remember, we are a bar, not a restaurant. We are unable to accommodate large parties (for food) without prior arrangements being made due to the strain it puts on our small kitchen, front of house staff and other guests. If you would like to host a function at The Pivot, please email us at info@pivotpublichouse.com
As with our Food Menu, our wine selection with also rotate and/or grow, to encourage you to try something new. This is our current lineup. *Glass/Bottle **pours are 6oz, 4 pours per bottle.
Always on Tap will be Domestic Classics Coors & Coors Light, Dos Equis or Modelo, Samuel Adams Boston Lager or rotating Sam seasonal (our craft beer roots), and Guinness, because it is good for you! Other taps will contain our favorite crafts from Colorado.
Distinctively black. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer is defined by harmony. Sip after sip, sweet counters bitter as the malt arrives on cue to complement a base of roasted barley.
With Barley grown in the San Luis Valley, this classic quenches the thirst and supports the region.
A golden pilsner style beer with a nuanced blend of malts, spices and earth tones. Flavorful yet light-tasting and smooth. Balanced composition and clean finish.
Aroma: Rich, toasty, bready malt with a touch of caramel and a kiss of subtle floral hops.
Flavor: Sharp, clean hop bitterness overlays sweet, toasted malt with cracker notes.
Our chalk board will contain specific information regarding rotating craft beers. Chances are good you will see Soulcraft Brewing in Salida, Elevation Beer in Poncha Springs, and The Colorado Farm Brewery in Alamosa, CO.
We offer Non-alcoholic Beer by Athletic (2-3 varieties), Seasonal Beer styles by the can, Whiteclaw, Mom Water, 'Spiritless' Cocktails, and a Mocktail Menu.
The cocktails on this menu are influenced by our past, our present, our surroundings, and our imagination. They are made with premium ingredients and spirits. Standard & Classic Cocktails are available.
